The Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi focussed on Koyomi Takasaki, a young boy who lives with his mother after her parents divorced. He was trying to make friends in the new college prep school, but his social awkwardness coupled with the feeling that he’d rather be focused on studying means he’s unsuccessful. His classmate Kazune Takigawa approaches him one day and tells him that she’s actually from World Line 85, where she and Koyomi are lovers.
Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku focuses on Koyomi Hidaka, a boy who lives with his father after being divorced from his parents. He has a father-made research lab with a girl named Shiori Sato and starts a relationship that turns into love. Even when parents decide to marry one another, they will move to an equal-minded world with no stepsiblings.
