Samsung has just introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, the fourth edition of its family of foldable phones. They give more than only to users, as they gain more money.

There are few brands who are introducing this new smartphone.
Since Samsung is the company which have put a lot of money on them, it’s completely convinced that folding will become the new industry standard sometime and is now remodeling the catalog so that it can adjust to this possible market evolution.
In the coming years, Samsung is expanding its focus on folding phones.
The Head of smartphone companies at the Korean company, Roh Tae-moon, made some statements, which he reported to AndroidPolice, in which he states that the brand believe it will be 2025, and that folding smartphones will be more than 50% of Samsung’s total sales.
This would place him in the prestigious position of the Korean firm, making them more important even though they were smaller than the Galaxy S family, which they would surpass Samsung’s absolute flagships.
It could happen in the next few years, as long as the market sees it the same way and results in sales folding mobiles. For now, each year they sell more than before, so it won’t be unreasonable.
To keep in mind that not everyone buys high-end mobiles and that an excellent portion of the Samsungs catalog is intended to segments below the top of the line, like the Galaxy A.
The Korean manufacturer is for now the person who has the most advantages to foldable mobiles, and benefits from being the major manufacturer of many modules that integrated, like the flexible panels.
Well see how the market will evolve in near future, but in regards to Samsung, they’re convinced foldable phones will be their most important asset in a few years.
