Many racing games have track editors for fans to tinker with, but destruction announced on Friday, players build and modify the racetrack while others drive it. Wreck was originally commissioned by Three Fields Entertainment and THQ Nordic. The trailer is now being shipped to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
destructionThe development team consists of veterans of the Electronic Arts Burnout and Need for Speed series. The game features six different events (Drift, Air, Near Miss, Stunt and Crash) and are scattered across the open-world map. Mixworld has the ability to create tracks, jumps, loops, obstacles and more on the racetrack while an event is happening live.
The destruction can also support an array of customization options in-car, plus its own old-school 16-channel radio. If that’s not bad enough, the game supports streaming in the Spotify account of players’ favorite playlists.
No car appears to be licensed or real, but destruction can help him with anything from a backhoe to a cable television truck, or a souped-up Oldsmobuick detective vehicle.
