According to Deadline, Keke Palmer has officially signed in to the role of the acting movie titled Moxie. Amazon Studios has just bought the rights to the project.
The directing duo of Moxie, Amber Templermore-Finlayson, will be named Moxie. This is the first solo directorial feature of the filmmakers, that’s being written by Heather Quinn. The project is commissioned by Palmer, Peter Lawson and Kate Churchill. It’s about to be executive produced by Sharon Palmer.
The movie is about an extremely poor stripper who isn’t in a bad mood about the FBI until she becomes an absolute best candidate for their fancy new agent program.
Keke Palmer is best known for her early roles in Akeelah and Jump In! She is a former Nickelodeon star, who led her own sitcom back True Jackson, VP. Besides the films of Jordan Peeles and Nope, Palmer recently starred in Disney’s Lightyear movie, in which she lent her voice to the character of Izzy Hawthorne.
