The Bear was selected for three Critics Choice Awards

The Critics Choice Association announced the nominees for the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards. The Bear is a series of FX's hit dramas starring Aldrich, where he is named after Carmen Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the Fine Dining community who came home from home to Chicago to take care of him.

The Critics Choice Association announced the upcoming 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards nominees for Television category.

FX’s hit comedy series The Bear received three nominations:

  • Comedy is the best one!
  • Best actor in comedy series Jeremy Allen White.
  • Ayo Edebiri – the best actor to ever watch TV shows a comedy show.

The Bear is a comedy-drama that follows Carmen Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the fine dining world, who comes home home from Chicago to run the original beef of Chicagoland a while after his family died.

The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce and Liza Colon-Zayas, with Edwin Lee Gibson and Matty Matheson as recurring roles.

This impressive, floppy series provides a unique, unflinching and always entertaining view behind the scenes in the restaurant industry.

The bear premiere is streaming on Hulu, and the show has been renewed for a second season.
