Showtime released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Yellowjackets, which finally unveiled its return date. The new episodes of a nominated Emmy nominee’s coming-of-age horror drama will start on March 24th 2023.
In the 15-second film “Reiverhood of the year 2, the Yellowjackets, we can see a cryptic symbol connected to the surviving daughters in the wild. In a recent interview with Variety, the lead star Sophie Nelissewarned fans that the next installment will be more graphic and gruesome as it seems like the girls face a harsh winter.

Yellowjacket stars Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nelisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Steven Krueger and Warren Kole. Star Trek: The American Heart is about to introduce Oscar-nominated actress Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, Servant) as child Van Palmer, Simone Kessell (Obi-Wan Kenobi) as children Lottie and Elijah Wood as citizen detective Walter.
The story, an epic story of the survival-inspired horror and come-of-age drama, tells the story of a team of highly talented high school girls football players who become the (un)lucky survivors of the crash in the remote northern wilderness. The novel is written in synopsis and opens with the story of the story. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated, but long-lasting team to their savage clans, and to the survivors’ lives almost 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past, but what started out in the wilderness is far from over.
