Cal is one of the few Jedi who survived the events of Order 66, as we became the principal character of Jedi: Fallen Order, a video game the Star Wars lore of, is a king of lore. Of course, Cal has very strong character in the game while we’re controlling him, considering that he can defeat powerful enemies and powerful monsters alike. But how strong is Cal Kestis?
Because he never completed his training, Cal Kestis knows the basic fundamentals of forces and lightabatta. With the game progressed, Cal developed his foundations into an easy hand to defeat a fallen Jedi Master, the Inquisitors on par.
Cal Kestis is still a relatively young Jedi, with whom he didn’t endure a lot of battles throughout his lifetime, so it makes him very loyal to the player. He came into the story without overpowered abilities, but a character who must take over his training and become a Jedi. With that said, let’s see how strong Cal Kestis is now.
How heavy is Cal Kestis?
A new hope is one of the most intriguing parts of Star Wars’ lore, because a lot of events can happen in nearly two decades. Since the time was very long that the project in 19 years was never explored by Lucasfilm, now it became one of the most interesting parts of Star Wars history, because of the numerous storylines that happened in that time, and finally becomes one of the most important aspects of that era.
Of course one of the characters that were explored during the time after the creation of the Empire at the end of Episode III is Cal Kestis. Cal was introduced as the main playable character of the canon video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was as expected, due to his role in the event of Order 66, where the clones attacked the Jedi. His master had to sacrifice his life so Cal would escape.
After escaping, Cal hardly ever used his Force powers while he was hiding from the eyes of the Imperial Government. That has sent out Inquisitors that Darth Vader himself personally trained to be strong enough to hunt down any of the remaining Jedi that survived the destruction of the Jedi Order. Cal had to make sure he didn’t use his Force abilities so that he wouldn’t end up on the radar of the Inquisitors.
Later again, the game opened up with his force enshrined during a life-and-death moment. Thus, the Inquisitors found him, as he was being rescued by Cere Junda and his team. Since then he began his new journey of learning more about Jedi Holocron, which contained information to all the children’s forces that could be impacted by the womb.
While Cal grew up, even when his job was to perform acrobatically, he was also able to become the best person. Clearly, at the beginning, he only knew some basics of Lightaber training & didn’t really use force. While the game progressed, Cal became more skilled with his lightsaber and can unlock and learn new forces powers that he learned while still a Padawan.
Three of the strongest in the Star Wars Wars Ranks Powerful, the 30 Strongest Inquisitors in the Class.
In terms of lightsaber, he initially could just handle a single-bladed saber, but eventually became more skilled in his manners. He developed the dual-blade-favourable JarKai combat style that he only learned a few Jedi or Siths. Cal was well enough, like a lightaber, so he could handle his own duties against Purge Troopers and Inquisitors alike.
Since he began to relearn things he already knew before Order 66, his Force powers steadily grew. Cal tasked his ability to do and keep his power out of force, but also force the wolf. In this regard, he knows almost everything about fundamental forces that most Jedi Padawans are taught.
Due to his improved skills with the lightsaber and resuscitation of the force, Cal Kestis was able to fight the fallen Jedi master Taron Malicos on par. However, Cal didn’t fit with the former Jedi master’s self-help, as long as the Nightsister called Merrin needed to intercede in the battle. In a such way, Cal arose to victory over Taron Malicos, with a new ally.
Cal could also prove himself good enough to handle the Inquisitors. He took the Ninth Sister by himself. Cal eventually defeated her in the final of the game after losing to the Second Sister several times in the past.
Cere Junda, who was actually a Jedi Knight, knighted Cal Kestis, after he had already accomplished so much on his journeys. This enabled him to earn the title of the Jedi Knight, where it was clear that he was right now for that, after studying the fundamentals that most Jedi Knights should learn.
The Canon Guide to Star Wars 11:12 to the originals (Brothers & the King) explained that the ten of these was the following: “Knorthers & the King.”
How does Cal Kestis compare to those of other Jedi and Sith?
As strong as Cal Kilest, it’s not so important to compare his strength with other Jedi and Sith men to find out how strong he is. Of course, you’ll be surprised to see how far he’s still still there.
Darth Vader appeared before the end of the game to kill the Second Sister after failing to defeat Cal Kestis. The former Jedi Knight named Anakin completely overwhelmed Cal Kestis with his Force powers, as it wasn’t possible to do what a playable character can do against the Sith Lord. On that level, Cal isn’t like Vader, who stands head and shoulders above him.
Obi-Wan Kenobi says that he’s going to be the only one.
While Obi-Wan Kenobi may have lost his connection with the Force during the early part of the series, he soon reconnected with it during the latter part of the storyline and fought against Darth Vader in their duel. In fact, Kenobi often does a lot of fight against his former Padawan. And since Obi-Wan is the only person who has defeated Anakin/Vader multiple times, he’s much stronger than Cal Kestis.
Is Cal Kesti in Octopi? How would a crossover happen?
Ahsoka Tano was trained as an aeronautical star and was always on the frontlines during the Clone Wars. As a result of his experience as a Padawan, she was pretty strong and a little powerful. While she went to the Jedi-Order at the Clone Wars, she continued with her skills and was able to fight Darth Vader as much as possible, even though Kanan and Ezra couldn’t escape the Forces: Rebels during the war. That means she’s as strong as a Jedi master and is far ahead of Cal Kestis in terms of training, skill and experience.
It was shown by the Star Wars War: Tales of the Jedi and Star Wars: Rebels that Ahsoka Tano was the superior Padawan in comparison to Kanan Jarrus who had no more time. In the Rebels, Kanan was still a Padawan who was hardly using his intelligence. That means that he is much closer to Cal. Kestiss level than any other Jedi or Sith – because both them are former Jedi Padawan, that never even completed their training due to the 66-day order. At the start of the Rebels, Kanan was the strongest of Cal, but pushed the strength towards his death by increasing his connections to the Force in the time he lost sight.
