In summer 2023 Universal Orlando released Minions onto its guests in the newest attraction of the resort: Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast. The location will be in the parks new Minion land in on Universal Avenue, along with the new Minion Cafe and other fun surprises that the Illumination franchise has in store from other movies and franchises.
In The Illumination of Villain-Con-Minion Blast, guests enter the biggest criminal convention on the planet, Villain-Con. The earliest known member of the infamous, the supervillain group, Minions: The Rise of Gru.

In a minion project called VillainCon, guests who join the challenge will grab an interactive blaster and walk onto an interactive pathway. They’ll be making their way through the attraction, working interactively through various scenes where they can earn points from blasting several items and causing all sorts of discontent. There are also tons of minions, obviously. World can’t afford to make it that strong.
It’s thrilling to know that Universal Orlando and Illumination are teaming up to make crime legal and fun at this theme park, the same theme park.
