Atlus announced that Steam version of Persona 4 Golden will receive an update on January 19, 2023, the exact date the game will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, Game Pass, and Windows PC.
The feature added to the upcoming ports will be implemented for Steam, including Quick Saving, the Album feature and the additional language support. Other changes will also be present.

- Updating the application from 32-bit to 64bit. This requires the user to have a 64-bit Windows or newer operating system to run the game.
- The game application is updated so that 32-bit versions of Persona 4 Golden will no longer be used. This change does not affect how much save information is stored.
- Additional support for the English, Italian, Spanish, German, and Simplified Chinese.
- Quick Save save feature allows you to suspend a game from any location.
- With the album feature added, you can see memories back to friends when you sit on the sofa in your room.
- Minor bugs have been fixed.
Persona 3 Portable will also launch on January 19, 2023 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. If you missed it, check out our new coverage package with the trailer for those incoming ports.
Persona 5 Royalis is now available via Windows and Steam on October 21 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch and PC. There is no plan for an upgrade to PlayStation 5 for PlayStation 4 users.
