President Barack Obama continues to think that the deal to acquire Activision Blizzard is going to close next year.
As of today, the Microsoft president d’instance spoke to Bloomberg about recent developments concerning the proposed acquisition of Activision.
Smith again said there were only very few exclusive games for Xbox compared to Sony. For a stronger competitor, there are more first-party games.
The president of the Windows group talked about its concern for the epoch of a single title that was spoken of within a few weeks for the entire city – Call of Duty. He again pointed out that they were ready to make a commitment for a ten-year move to bring the shooter series to the PlayStation or Nintendo platform.
However, Smith is disappointed that the deal was blocked by the Federal Trade Commission. He considered the way the CFTC did be doing incorrect. Even though there was a meeting where you couldn’t find a solution, you should have sat down to say that you could’ve found it.
That is going to continue in Washington. It’s the same as in other countries where there hasn’t been a decision yet.
And yet Smith still thinks that he can complete the deal in 2023. When the surrender was announced, it was expected that the return of that company would soon begin to roll out.
Microsoft president Brad Smith was together with Bloomberg Technology to express his desire for the MS/ABK deal.
He concedes that Xbox needs more games which have first-party capability to keep up.
He believes they have solutions to the regulators concerns.
