The busy year continues with a second cover reveal! The author of the Boyfriends’s Law recently revealed the title and cover of his latest novel, Mortal Follies. A new synopsis also was discovered, which gives fans an overview of the magical romance.

It’s 1814 and life for young women who are good at good breeding has many difficulties. There are balls to attend, fashions to follow, marriages to consider, and, of course, the tiny complication of existing in a world swarming with fairy spirits, interfering deities, and real straight-up sorcerers.

Miss Maelys Mitchelmore finds her entry into high society hindered by a rude curse. Even though she does not wear anything short of a veil, it seems like she should make some sense.

To avoid losing sight of the curse, Miss Mitchelmore must seek assistance even if that means mixing with unwanted company. And even though she has a few little things to say about the madness of Lady Georgianna Landrakea, these youthful women were born by the name of the Duke of Annadale who may have or may not have murdered her own father and brother and died for their fortune. If you believe that gossip, she might be a tidbitly enchantress. Finally, a malign chantress is probably exactly what Miss Mitchelmore needs.

With the help of the Dukes, Miss Mitchelmore turns into a witch, a witch hunt, the gods who’re unmasked, and the creator of a stinging enemy. But Miss Mitchelmores reputation isn’t the only thing to risk in spending time with her new ally. For the reputed witch has his own secrets that may be dangerous for Miss Mitchelmores, heart and not just her life.
