According to Variety, Oscar winner Robert De Niro has officially jumped in the advertising press conference entitled Mr. Natural. De Niro will portray Louis Baron as his principal in the main role, an ex-convict who go to Palm Springs for enacting his dangerous plans. The project hasn’t yet got an outline.

This marks his second major TV project within the month, as he recently signed up for Netflix’s TV show Zero Day. Both projects would be De Niros first regular role after only appearing in movies for most of his career.

Mr. Natural is created and executive produced by Mitch Glazer. Outside of acting, De Niro will serve as a producer and John Linson as an executive producer.

The series follows Louis Mr. Natural Baron (De Niro), who, out of prison for thirty years, hits Palm Springs, a dream of combining the stolen family with a dangerous scheme that will get a taste of Salton Sea’s lithium billions, says the logline. Blood will enter the desert with bones and sand. Palm Springs isn’t going to be the same as other cities.

The 2017 TV film The Wizard of Lies made it first for De Niros. His performance as Bernie Madoff in the HBO biopic earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in an Independent Film or a Limited Series.
