The recent reorganization in his career has caught media attention lately. First, Cavill surprised the public by appearing in the comeo from the post-credit scene of Black Adam. The scene pointed to the fact that Cavill was officially back as the DC Extended Universes Superman (DCEU) and would soon be facing off with Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson). Unfortunately, shortly after he announced his return, James Gunn and Peter Safran took over as DC Studios co-CEOs and decided to remake Superman, so that Cavill won’t go back to the new world for future projects.
Cavill recently announced that he’ll quit his role in The Witcher after season three. While the series is going to be continuing, Liam Hemsworth will replace Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. Cavill didn’t publicly declare why he died. However, his fans think they know and claimed dissatisfaction with the direction of the series, and his abandonment as superman was why his departure was a reason for his move. No matter what he explains, a TV show comes with a big time commitment. He quit The Witcher and would probably open up his future for further projects.
As of now, Cavill will appear in three new films, a TV series and one more season of The Witcher. Although he was soundly in excellent all else, there has been rumor that he was in better condition. Cavills fans always wait to see him in many roles. The rumors begin to fly, and Cavill is finding new roles. Here is every upcoming film and TV show that is slated to be in, both confirmed and rumored.
Warhammer 40,000 (Confirmed) (Rong) (C.

Warhammer was the first project on which Cavill signed on for after stepping down from The Witcher and Superman. On December 15, 2022, it was reported that Amazon Studios acquired the highly sought-after television and film rights to Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000. A Warhammer 40,000 television series is in development starring Cavill. Despite its emergence in the cinematic world, the company is planning to expand the game into a whole universe. He will also help to develop this universe, as well as the executive producer for the series. Though her role in the series is not disclosed, he is thought to be staring and probably making future projects in the franchise, too.
Cavill announced the exciting news on Instagram, confirming he’d help Amazon to create a cinematic universe. He also promised Warhammer fans that he’d take this video game seriously.

Argylle (Confirmed)

Next role of Yvonne, Cavills should be in a spy thriller film, Argylle. It’s clear that he isn’t the movie’s star, but no date for this film is yet. The film is likely to come before or after some of his other upcoming projects debut. Arylle is in vain to release sometime in 2023. The film will be directed by Matthew Vaughn and is, interestingly, based on a spy novel that hasn’t yet been released by Elly Conway. A lot of details are being hidden under wraps from the film being based on the future novel but what we have heard has come to an interest.
The star-studded group will include Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston and Samuel L. Jackson. Meanwhile, the movie follows a former spy called Argylle, who has suffered from amnesia and is convinced he’s a best-selling spy novelist. As soon as he returns his memories, he’s fighting for revenge on a spying organization once employed. After the first-hand image, Cavill made a spiky-haired look for his Argylle role and expressed a romantic interest in the Dua Lipas character.

While Cavill will depart The Witcher, he’s still going to appear in the third season. Witchers are renewing a third season in September 2021. The film was finished in September of 2022 and was released in March of 2023. That means that fans still have something more season to expect with him before its first show date. Since the official Episode 3 synopsis of Netflix’s season, the next will focus mainly on Geralt (Cavill), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri (Freya Allen). The three band assembled to protect Ciri and oversee her magic training but get stuck in the corrupt Aretuza, singing black magic and treachery.
The Rosie Project (Confirmed) (Applications) (B) (Applications)

Cavill has been confirmed to be appearing in the upcoming rom-com The Rosie Project. He was first shown in this film in July 2021. This film will be directed by Steve Falk and is based on the novel of the same name by Graeme Simsion. Tom Jackson will write the screenplay. Cavill will star in the film with Don Tillman, a genetics professor who hasn’t had much luck with relationships. By doing that he creates an elaborate questionnaire, he’ll find the right partner.
Cavill is the only cast member who is attached to that movie. The release date is unknown. The Rosie Project is set to have a distinct departure from Cavills typical roles, which tend to be more serious and heavier. With this project, it will be interesting for him to delve into the romantic/comedy genre.
The Ministry of unambiguous conflict of war (confirmed) (Mord for Peacekeeping)

It’s been confirmed that Cavill appeared in the movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare upcoming. The details of the project are too difficult, since he was officially cast in October 2022. However, he and Eiza Gonzalez are expected to star in the lead roles.
This film will be a World War II drama directed by Guy Ritchie. The book of the same name by Damien Lewis tells the truly incredible story of the black ops unit that he put in against the Germans. The black ops group was admittedly killed as they saw fit, but the British government couldn’t deny their responsibility, making them a ruthless force against the Germans.
The Highlander (The Rumored) is a Russian.

Cavill will appear in a remake of the Highlander film by director Chad Stahelski. Stahelski confirmed that he’s trying to develop the film and that Cavill was his top choice from the start of his career. While Cavill was officially tied to the film, the update on the reboot still isn’t very successful. Stahelski is busy with the John Wick 4 project and Cavill has been booked with his recent and upcoming projects. Stahelski assured fans that the film is still under construction. We just don’t know where to expect him.
In the original 1986 Highlander film, Christopher Lambert met as Connor MacLeod, an immortal Scottish swordsman, who seeks a mysterious prize, but must find his immortal enemy first so he can claim it. It’s not clear whether Cavill will be portraying MacLeod or an immortal. However, Stahelski suggested that he chose him because he had the physique to play the role, but also the heart to nab the characters emotional depth.
Loki Season 2 (Oscar)

A longstanding rumor has been that Cavill will appear in Loki in season 2 of the series. The Time Variance Authority will continue Lokis season 2 in 2023. In particular, it will follow Loki as he navigates a dimension that is judged by He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors). The rumor about Cavill appearing in the MCU seemed to have started with Twitter user @CineStealth.
A couple of other leakers tipped me out of the past month on Cavill as Hyperion. However, I first heard that only in a few weeks. They didn’t go far to say it was 100% a done deal; just that it was that some form of talks went down.

In August 2022, the user reported there was talk of having Cavill join the sequel as the Marvel villain Hyperion. Hyperion is often related to a Superman of Marvel. The stories of supermans and hyperions bear striking similarities and are related to being born on another planet, and raised by humans and became planet’s protector. Cavill has rubbed and denied the rumors of his appearance. Upon the news, Cavill declared that he’d be nice to hear that the fire is spreading.
As far as I know, I will not be inLoki…It would be very difficult at this stage if James Gunn could do that, maybe I can and he can, too.
As always, keep in mind that in the MCU, actors had lying about their roles in certain projects. Deafness and laughter didn’t shut the door completely. If James Gunn can direct the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Suicide Squad, there is no reason for that.
Season 2 of the Dragons’ House (Rumored)

With the exception of Loki, the only other TV series that was rumoured to appear in the movie Cavill is the house of Dragon. It’s unclear how the rumors started, since there aren’t much about House of Dragons season 2 at all. The similarities between Witcher and House of Dragons have probably ignited the rumour that he appears in House of Dragon. Cavill admitted his similarities and was admitted to the fact that he watched House of Dragon and thought that a lot of the actors would do good Witchers.
Nevertheless, Cavill denied he was appearing in House of Dragon season 2. According to an interview on the podcast Happy Sad Confused, Josh Horowitz stated: “There was no harm” on the author’s appearance.
To be fair, when I watched House of the Dragon, I felt like a lot of these guys could get very good Witchers. I think I really would be cool to be in Westeros. I don’t think I want to have any places there.
And, of course, he hasn’t completely shut the doors off for appearing in the movies.

After Cavill appeared in The Flash, there was really rumour that he would be coming into the cameo again. After it was announced that Cavill wasn’t returning as Superman, it was confirmed that The Flash cameo was filmed before his removal. In spite of the dissatisfaction made by the DC, many kaspers made out of the film, which he did to the end of the show.
