One Piece is packed with unanswered questions and mysteries, just so as to spread secrets. Fans have been speculating and interpreting the one Piece storyline for generations, leading to some potentially interesting and simply crazy possibilities. Check out some of the best One Piece theories that will blow you a lot of potential theories!
The Gorosei remained alive in the venomous Century.
Even if there were little evidence to show, there was an unusual possibility that the Gorosei elders were around during the Void Century. This theory would suggest they are essentially immortal, possibly because of the charm of Jewelry Bonneys.
Some fans believe that, if it were the case, they’d be responsible for the Roman death. It seems like they were very complex in a whole different role.
Usopps Lies Redeem True (Descendant of Noland Theory)
The entire One Piece storyline has been analysed, so that while Usopp and his lies generally lie very much (the lengthy nose is an excellent touch), his lies usually come true later on. A list of the most notable examples is :
- Usopp said the pirates attacked the village and pirates attacked the village as soon as they were introduced.
- Usopp said that he knew giants, but then he reached out to giants.
- Usopp said that he found an island, but that was a giant poop and later found out that it was the giant goldfish.
- Usopp said that he had a thousand pirates under his command. And a swarm of pirates believed that he was a god at one time.
Usopp said that he is a descendant of Noland, which ties into a divergent theory. Even though Luffy became convinced that Noland and Usopp were the same people, it appeared to be revealed that most Noland descendants do not know they are related. But, they all feel an irresistible call to the sea, and of course, while Usopp confirms this call, it’s quite possible that he reincarnated of Noland, especially since he lies are a real man.
The Cerberus-Blackbeard Theory of an older man.
Running theory is called the How Blackbeard ate 3 Devil Fruits. According to a popular theory, the Blackbeard may have eaten a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that transformed him into a Cerberus before acquiring the Dark Dark Fruit and the Quake Quake Fruit.
10 Strongest One- Piece Villains ranked by Strength.
Cerberus beings have three head-shaped systems according to mythology, so Blackbeard can eat 2 devil fruits without suffering the same fate as others who ate more than one. Although some fans believe this is linked to a theory that Blackbeard has a condition known as fetus in the fetu and has two siblings inside him as a result.
The theory is backed up by the image of the three inmates that relate to Blackbeard such as the Blackbeard Pirates Jolly Roger, which also features three skulls positioned in a coordinated way. A third example of the three diagonal scars from the left eye of Shankss, which they caused by Blackbeard.
Blackbeard is half-fishing of Octopus.
The reason why a pirate flag has 3 skulls, why he has multiple devil fruits, and why he hasn’t slept his whole life has been discussed for a long time. The most common theory to explain these mysteries is that Blackbeard ate the Dog Dog Fruit Model Cerberus – an imaginary giant dog with three heads. The truth is that the structure of his body is strange, or the way Buggy said, he never slept in his life, insists that he was born unusually.
The new theory is that Blackbeard is a half-Fishman of an octopus. Octopus has 3 heart and 8 legs. Blackbeards have 3 skulls and 8 bones.
Maybe Blackbeard has 3 hearts, and that’s why Marco said that the structure of his body is unusual, and why Blackbeard has multiple devil fruits. This theory is to explain to other people why Blackbeard has allegedly not slept in his life.
Mihawk is Rayleigh’s son and Shakky’s.
Dracule Hawk Eyes Mihawk is surrounded by mystery. In fact, many fans questioned their parents. Though there is no evidence, many fans speculate that Mihawks parents may be none more than Silvers Rayleigh and Shakuyaku.
Mihawk has a similar style and style as Shakuyaku. However, his birth name and Rayleigh are connected. As for Math, Rayleigh would have been 35 years, and Shakuyaku would have been 21 around Mihawk’s birth, so making it a plausible theory.
The Ancient Weapons Theory (Altene Weapons).
The Ancient Weapons in the Void Century, Poseidon, Pluton and Uranus have been a hot topic amongst fans since their revelations, and shrouded by mystery for viewers and main One Piece characters. Although many have speculated these ancient Weapons originate from Greek mythology, fans believe it’s better known to be a resemblance to the planets themselves.
However, Ancient weapons are actually intended for use against the World Government. This may explain why the World Government has banned research on the Poneglyphs, Ancient Weapons and the Void Century.
Kaido is the Prince George quais.
They were discovered that Oven, Katakuri and Daifuku are only three of Charlotte’s children; however, they were triplets who were parented by Big Mom. However, it is very little information about their father.
Some fans believe that the Charlotte triplets father can be none more than Kaido of the Beasts, primarily since Kaido and Big Mom were part of the Rocks 40 years earlier. But, a strong evidence of an unambiguous speech that Kaido and Big Mom have back in chapter 907 where Big Mom tells Kaido that he’s a hefty child support owes him, which fans have interpreted as unpaid child support.
Kaido and Charlotte Katakuri have notable similarities, such as fashion sense and love for skulled tattoos, while Ovens spikey beard and Daifukus stringy mustache evoke their alleged fathers’ facial hair. Although it might seem that the same scene might bind to an entirely different theory, in a short short article, said that Big Mom used his power to make Kaido invincible, hence the debt.
Huge Moms Many children have many babies.
On the topic of the Big Moms children, there is another odd theory: Big Mom really speeds up the development of babies in her womb by applying her soul ability to the fetus. Other than that, she’ll take on life in order to speed up the process.
Whatever the way you can, the theory is as mind-blowing as it is disturbing. This can clearly mean a lot more than that a big mother is.
Sicking the Secret Manager.
Shanks has been a secretive character for a long time, although many theories are based on the past of Shankss (touched on in One Piece: Red), as well as Shanks romantic interests and children. Some one Piece fans have started to think Shanks is really evil. Nevertheless, there are theories that explain what Shanks can be true to with the most believable originating from Shanks Observation Haki.
It’s believed that Shanks could see further into the future and more accurately than fans expected. He knows more than he does if he makes it a habit – whether because of his observational Haki or because of his extensive travel journey. His shady act could be to preserve the power and to resuscitate history, and to have an interesting history before and after such a big war.

Shanks watch the new world and ensure Poneglyphs, not just those forbidden secrets of the Void Age, will remain undeciphered. Whitebeard reveals in his final moments that the One Pieces discovery will turn the world upside down, that could lead to Shanks actions within this theory. That would explain why Gorosei wants that New World be governed by pirate outlaws instead of the world government.
The apologies for a failure.
The “Re-inferred Will” theory is perhaps the best theoretical one-part theory there. It’s totally indiscreet with various elements of the One Piece storyline, but it might explain what the fuss really is about the discovery of the One Piece as its weapon that will stand out.
It suggests that Roger was able to make up all four seas in one vast ocean. This would allow the destruction of the Red Line, so it would create the All Blue, without compromising the ancient weapons the World Government had forbidden.
As a result, Roger became sick and didn’t fulfil the task. Rather, he fled Golden Age of Pirates, so another pirate could continue the mission. There are lots of evidence to support this theory. The most notable case is chapter 610 where mermaid Madam Shyarly envisioned Luffy destroying Fish-Man Island, which could only happen if the Redline was destroyed.
Monkey D. Dragon is an old marine.
The theory of the One Piece universe is interesting. Monkey D. Dragon was a marine. Oda is very famous for its inscription in One Piece, where legends and folklore can be used.
The mythological portrayal of the four seas here, north, south, east and west, has been linked to the Chinese mythological depiction of the four seas here. Oceans are represented by yellow, blue, white, and red, and, in addition, many species are identified as the oceans, as well as the Monkey, Bird, Dragon, and Dog.
If the North Sea (Yellow, monkey) could be paired with Admiral Kizaru, the South Sea (blue, bird) with Admiral Aokiji, and the West Sea (red, dog) with Admiral Akainu, then the East Sea would be closed. According to that theory, it would go with Admiral White Dragon believed to be Monkey D. Dragon.
Is O-Tama Dead? Will she be back in one piece?
As well, a fable that supports the theory is called a story by which we call a king, with 4 followers a bird, monkey, dog and pheasant. The bird left after seeing the king with the truth in his eyes, but the other two decided to stay for other reasons. This story is related to the Chinese mythological depiction. It can suggest that Dragon left his admiral position after seeing how corrupt the world government was.
Man-carved fruit for the wolf.
The Numbered Devil Fruits theory wouldn’t change the whole perception of the One Piece universe. Even though this theory proved correct, it could have been correct even if it was discovered that this theory was ok with one Piece fans.
Many fans speculating who were going to join the Straw Hat Pirates for ages; and a curious fan shared information in Odas Q&A column in one piece called SBS Volume 59. The column said that some of the fans were excited to share the ideas in Odas Q&A. Then it told the men at the end of the story, they were told: “An opportunity is what I’d like to say as a kid”.
D: Odachi! I noticed something strange. The number is 10!
This refers to how the Japanese name for the Straw Hat Pirates are slang from 1 to 10 from the Japanese language. Oda apparently answered the following ambiguous statement: “Are you saying the following?
O’clock… Well you’re surprised! Why was it surprised me? !
If you look at the Japanese name of Luffys Devil Fruit (Gomu Gomu No Mi), Go would be the Sino-Japanese number for 5 while Mu is the Native-Japanese number, meaning Gomu Gomu No Mi would be 5,6.5.6. Other Straw Hat members the Devil Fruit numbers would do like to describe it.
- Get: Sore: Sore: Sore: Sores Aeus 10.5.10)
- Robin: Hana Hana (8.1,8.1,8.1).
- My wife: Yomi (4.3.4.3.)
All this theory wouldn’t allow is a devil who used to be on a fruit plant a total of 2,9. The numbers also add to an interesting reference point: 6 (Gomu) + 110 (Hito) + 87 (Hana) + 43 (Yomi) + 29 (Nikyu) = 325, which could mean San (3) Go (5), with a possible nod to the Thousand Sunny.
The Giant Strait was Linked to Uranus.
The giant straw hat found frozen looks remarkably similar to that of Luffys, which was previously revealed in chapter 906. In the Dressrosa arc, Donquixote Doflamingo said that the National treasure of Mary Geoises would shake the world a full sigh of relief if the remark was made public.
The scene appeared shortly after the discussion. Because of this statement, many fans believe this straw hat may be the Ancient Weapon Uranus.
21 largest A Piece Characters of All Time (rankeded)
The majority believed it was all with the Ancient Weapon Uranus, either by hiding a secret message or by another occasion. The Ancient Weapons “Poseidon and Pluton” were skewed into a princess and a colossal battleship, leaving a large gap of meaning to the Ancient Weapon Uranus a gigantic straw hat that could only be built.
Joyboy held up the Ancient Kingdom.
Robin is one who seems to understand the mysterious Poneglyphs, and she finds something interesting during the fishier arc. Robin discovers a Poneglyph inscribed with an apology from Joyboy to the mermaid princess found in the ancient Weapon Poseidon.
Fans began speculating that Joyboy was the ruler of the ancient Kingdom, which could be inspired, as well as by a Javanese king named Jayabaya/Jennero. Joyoboyo predicted the kingdom’s collapse and transcribed its history, similar to Ancient Kingdom Poneglyphs.
In the end, Joyoboyo ruled out an agreement of 30 years with the author. In the One Piece universe, Luffy could be chosen hero.
Raftel is an ancient Kingdom.
The scholars of the Ohara identified the Ancient Kingdom name before their deaths, then the Gorosei covered it up. After the Straw Hats meet Rayleigh, he explains that Gol D. Roger and his crew found Raftel and found the secret to the Void Century, and also the ancient Kingdom.
Whitebeards final statement about the One Pieces discovery that turned the world upside-down has also been used for this theory. While it might be possible that Raftel has unique secrets relating to the Ancient Kingdom, some fans believe that the island of Raftel and the ancient Kingdom are the same.
One Piece is on the Moon.
This One Piece theory has been left for last long because it’s completely free since its very nature doesn’t have too many supporters, it definitely has much more evidence than it would have anticipated. This theory is extremely intense, spanning through the One Piece storyline from the Skypiea arc (where Robin encounters the city of Shandora and finds clues about the ancient civilization that fell) but essentially revolves around the true history of outer space and the single piece treasures.
This theory might sound insane, but there are many details that support that theory. It explains major mysteries and theories that fans have come up with including the Poneglyphs, the Void Century, the World Governments secret agenda, the Celestial Dragons origins, and the ancient civilization at Shandora, as well as the Will of D. Since there are many aspects of this theory to cover, we wrote a rejoicing summary of the most important notes below.
In The Great Space Mission, Enerus describes how he flew to the moon with an ancient race of beings called Mooninites. This confirms the life from the moon in One Piece that lived the existence of other people. It was to be called with different hairstyles and wings.
The image and rambling of this one-piece story are, to the amazement of a descendants who live under a roof. This would happen because the civilization’s civilization was being attacked either with the ancient weapons of mass destruction or in a fight for their control. Their names were drawn up to their interstellar origins (and not Greek mythology).
With this theory, the attackers left behind would become the Celestial Dragons, a lineage known as the Celestial Dragons, and therefore tie into why Celestial Dragons have political complexes in the One Piece universe. This would explain why the World Government is so opposed to deciphering the Poneglyphs.
On the other hand, descendants of the Mooninites would have grown up and procreated with humans to create a new bloodline. These would be characters with D. in the name, which also links to the Will of D. and resembles half of a moon, referencing descendants being half mooninite and half-human.
Fourty-five best of all three-piece, based on probability, and seven most prized ship ships receive a rating of seven:3 p.m.
Although this theory definitely is over, it took a lot of traction after Oda published the cover below, showing Luffy with wings. Could this help me remember a bit of how Luffy and his family were reborn of Mooninites, allowing to resign the United States, and restore harmony to the world? Only time will tell.
Thats all of the craziest and most mind-blowing One Piece theories so far, with images thanks to Screenrant, Anime Underground Ranker, and dedicated fans on Reddit and Quora. Ignoring the real thing that exists to confirm any of these theories, it is really fun piecing tiny details together so that it will fill up some of the most perplexing gaps. That being said, Oda doesn’t shy of teasing fans with ambiguous responses, so some of these theories may be more truthful than fans will expect.
Luffys Gear 5 (Nika) was planned from the start of Chapter 1.
We discovered that the Gomu-Gomu Fruit was actually a Hito-Hopo-Mennia. Would you believe in suggesting that Oda had this planned in chapter 1? Luffy is a man named Hanuman based on the Hindu gods.
You can see that Hanuman and Luffy have the same outfit, but it is not only the beginning. Here are some of the commonalities between Luffy and Hanuman.
In one of the stories, Hanuman mistakes the sun for a fruit and tries to eat it. This shows how Luffy mistakened the vile fruit of the gods of the Sun with a fruit. Oda already agreed to tell the story in chapter one that the Gomu Gomu Fruit will be connected to the power of the sun when he made this link to Hanuman’s story.

Is Luffy in one Piece the Fifth Empire?
He is a samas woman.
In the latest film, ONE PIECE FILM RED, Oda revealed that a huge number of people found at God. In the years before its relic, rocks attacked the celestial dragons in God’s valley. When Gol passed, the dragon died. D. Roger and Garp joined hands, and took rocks down. After battling, Roger found the baby Shanks in a treasure box that he had taken away.
There is a lot of chances that IM sama was in God Valley when this battle went on and that Shanks is a samas son who has been left in God Valley.
First, the intention of Rockss was to become a king of the world. Maybe he discovered a story of the existence of IM sama and tried to give up the world from that IM sama. On the other hand, the islands that had been erased from the map (Ohara, God Valley, Lulusia) all have something to do with the world governments taboo. Perhaps, that might be the reason Shanks cried when he heard something from Roger.
