This year had a lot of great music and it is our own goal to choose the best of English albums in 2022. Several artists dropped albums this year, including those who made us wait years. Rarely is a grand lineup of Big names like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Drake etc., to be seen in the same year and you’ll feel like you have taken back in the first half of the 2000s. Since the theme Y2K came back to the industry and you’ll feel nostalgic.

The Best English Album by 2022
Midnights Taylor Swift was a midnight follower.
The third album of Taylor Swift released on October 21st, 2022 by Republic Records. Taylor contributed her songwriting skills to the latest album, too. She is the first artist to win the most of Billboard Hot 100 Charts with multiple records. It became the fastest album in the year 2022 and was the best-selling of all time.
Renaissance was released on September 29th 2022. Now, despite the release of the first in January of the year, Beyonce came to the first to introduce themselves since the Lemonade. The album was hugely successful, with the top spot in Billboard Hot 100 Charts. She honors Black and queer pioneers by adding the 1970s dance music to her repertoire such as disco and house. Just a few days after its release, it got platinum certified.
Sux- Avril Lavigne Love You!
Love Sux is the event studio album of the singer. Avril gave up on the album, too. The album was released on February 25, 2022 via Elektra Records. Avril released this new album three years after Head Above Water in 2021. The group received significant positive feedback and became one of the most highly rated Avrils music critics.
The Week of the Master’s Day – Dawn FM – The Weeknd.
Dawn FM was released on January 7, 2022 via XO and Republic Records and is the fifth studio album of the singer-songwriter. The album features narration by Jim Carrey, guest vocals from Tyler, the creator and Lil Wayne, and spoken-word appearances from Quincy Jones and Josh Safdie. The album was supposed to show the condition of purgatory and the journey through the light at the end of the tunnel.
Harrys’ house- Harry Styles.
The album which the artist is most successful, is Harrys House released via Columbia Records on May 20, 2022. Even though it came out with some leaked releases, the album quickly charted on both the US and the U.K. charts. The album became amongst the fastest selling albums in the United States. The track As It Was has been a huge success and is known for the longest songs.

The album was released on October 21, 2022 by Epic Records. Made You Look, a single from the album, became a viral track in the month of June. Their lyrical aims primarily at motherhood, self-acceptance and the Y2K concept.
Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers- Kendrick Lamar – The Big Steppers.
It’s the artists’ fifth studio album, released on May 13, 2022. The single N95 became one of the top charting singles in Billboard’s top 100. His album includes many themes of childhood and generational trauma.
SZA returns with his second studio album, SOS, released on December 9, 2022. The track arose on the first of three albums: Good Days, I Hate U and Shirts and two of those peaked on the list of the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album was made up of several actors, which were included in the recording, among others.
She lost the numbers of Drake and Savage.
21 Savage and Drake created Her Loss a concert album. Several songs from this album have entered Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Travis Scott is also an artist on the album.
With the song About Damn Time, which became a viral channel in several social media platforms, this is Lizzo’s most commercially successful album. The album was praised by both critics and fans alike. The main idea of this album is self-acceptance.
