In 2023, Disney released a trailer for all the major films and shows streaming on Disney+. For whom they know what fans are interested, they paid attention to Loki’s 2 premiere.

The trailer, made by Tom Hiddleston, contains flashes of a range of different things coming to Disney, like Secret Invasion, Peter Pan & Wendy, The Mandalorian Season 3 and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Soon after, the trailer was given the shot of Loki, whom the trailer calls a handsome man. (We agree, Tom!).
All the shots in the new trailer were included in the full Loki trailer shown at Disneys D23 Expo last September. A group of Lokis in tuxedos will see them telling them something Loki did a little over the top. Did Loki use his magic to create a sequence of himself? Is there a way to travel with a time? We aren’t quite sure yet.
We also see Loki fiddling with something that looks like a big matchbox and falling out of the Timevariance Authority. Earlier this year we saw the man wearing a grey sweatshirt and listening to headphones in the recording store. Set photos last summer revealed that Sylvie will apparently be working in a McDonalds in season two. Since we don’t know exactly how the new season started, Tom Hiddleston has described it as a battle for the soul of the TVA, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw has confirmed that season 2 will be bolder and more surreal.
We see that our first glimpse of Rosario Dawson as the Force-wielding Ahsoka Tano in her Star Wars solo series, Ahsoka. At the time, Dawsons Ahsoka made guest appearances in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, which reportedly resembled Ahsoka. The character appeared in anime and show titles such as The Clone Wars and The Tales of the Jedi (1922). According to the Disney+ trailer, Ahsoka removes her hood to reveal her face.
Loki and Ahsoka are both popular characters in Marvel and Star Wars universes. Critics have praised Ahsokas nuanced character arc in the Clone Wars series, and her conflicts with the Jedi order, in which she was the Anakin Skywalkers Padawan. From his stint in Loki season 1, where he went from villainy to love himself, a character to self-esteem. The series itself examined issues of free will and identity while creating future projects in the Spiderman multiverse saga, like the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania.
No official release date has been established for the two series, but Loki will premiere in summer 2023, the title of Achsoka apparently coming out sometime after The Mandalorian season 3 which ends March 1, 2023.
