Our chocolate hats more than just!
First Lindt, now Godiva! Sometimes the best lucky bags are the ones with food you know youre going to like, and Godiva Japan is no exception. Chocolate lover herself, Japanese-language reporter Masami often shrugs at Godivas cheap gifts. What better way to get a deal on them than with a lucky bag? So she started on mission.
Different kinds of Godivas 2023 lucky bags, depending on where you shopped, were offered in different types. Other bag sales at Godivas department store branches, like outlet malls, shopping centers, online stores, differed from other stores sold.
K. Masami went to see hers, and two options were offered: one for 3,240 yen (US$24.46) and one for 5,400 yen. The bag in the shops sign revealed the contents of each bag so Masami knew exactly how much bang she would get for her yen. So far, it was her 3,240 yen bag, and heres what she had inside
- 23 New Year Special Assortment R530 Chocolates (8 pieces)
- Milk Chocolate Mini Pretzels
- Cookie Assortment (8 cookies)
- New Year Happy Bag
Masami says some Godiva fans would be disappointed compared to bags in previous years, which included extras like Godiva ice cream. Masami notably satisfied with variety of items that they can get, which was surprisingly similar to their 2017 lucky bag.
She also thought that there were so many different lucky bags out there was also interesting! Changes shouldnt be easy, though Godiva may switch up how they do fukubukuro each year.
And assuming the price and the bag it comes in, it looks really good.
Most eight-piece chocolate sets out below 2,000 yen on Godivas online shop, cookies over 1,000 yen, pretzels currently available on the online shop also so its a must visit!
Masamis overall rating? Pretty good from Godiva Japan fans perspective. She does hope theyll add more bag quality and its contents next year but does think so! In the meantime, she has some snacking to do.
